Miniature Copper pieces

A few weeks ago I mentioned finding a miniature garage sale here in my neighborhood. These are the best of the copper pieces I purchased. One of the pan lids is hammered which really intrigued me. Another needs to have its handle soldered back on so hopefully someday I will acquire that skill or find someone to do it for me. The second photo shows what seems to be some type of water faucet. If someone knows what the proper name for this piece I would like to know. There is some pitting going on this which will be ok if it does not get any worse. The ocean air here is very unkind to metals so for now it will be stored safely away. This piece is also signed; Elaine Ware, JCS 4-6-80 No 007. Wow 30 years already so certainly a nice vintage piece. Does anyone know about Elaine?

Dear Cheryl, What a wonderful find of your copper treasures. One never knows what is on the horizon. Sometimes I am scared to look as I feel I should not acquire anything more.

That is nice copper, I love copper.
I know that there is a book around about miniature maker's marks. It says who people are.

The best place to find information on most anyone who has or still make miniatures is Small Stuff Digest. With over 3,000 members and lots of them being old timers it is a veritable brain trust. They also have archives of previous postings that can be searched. Very easy to join. But be sure if you are going to be active and post to it that you have your email account set for plain text and not html

Just did a little bit of research and found a gallery your copper maker has sold pieces at.

http://www.threegracesgallery.com/about.html

This seems to be her sister and her mother is posting on the sister's myspace page. Good bet for finding a way to reach her.
